The dirty secret is the West does not want a quick end to this war. They want Putin to conquer and occupy Ukraine but not be able to control it. Ukraine resistance along with sanctions that will remain as long as Russia is there will bleed Russia dry and Russia will collapse.given enough time.

You forgot about 20+ years of potential "aid" that Raytheon, Lockheed, et al can provide for the brave freedom fighters.

Trump warned them of what exactly?

Not that you will watch, but Trump actually addresses it in the link below:

If that were the case, the war would be over. Those were pretty much the opening demands of Putin's faction when the negotiators met the other day. The Ukrainians declined.

Russia has shown they aren't the organized fighting force everyone thought they were. Outrunning supply lines, not targeting power/comms first, still not holding air superiority over any part of the country.

The Belarusian border is only ~50 miles from Kyiv yet Russian forces still haven't even made it to the city yet.

The Ukrainians may well bleed the Russian army worse than the Afghanis did when it was the Soviet army.

Bulgarian Prime Minister Kiril Petkov said Monday that Bulgaria doesn’t have enough warplanes to guard its own airspace, let alone enough to send to Ukraine.

Pay your 2%...although 2% of Bulgaria's GDP probably doesn't buy much

No plans are going to be sent... Poland said they were going to send xx number of Mig 29's.. NATO basically said that "NO".. NATO, said that Poland sending planes is equivalent to NATO attacking Russia, and that NATO was purely defensive. Since Ukraine is not part of NATO, they are on their own..

Old news and misleading. The EU as an organization isn't sending any. Individual Europeans countries are.

Why send planes at this point? Ukraine will soon give up the east in exchange for a promise of neutrality/non-NATO alliance.

I don’t think Putin would take that deal. He can’t indirectly influence his neighbor if the East becomes part of Russia. He needs the East to stay part of Ukraine bc they’re sympathetic to him and can occasionally freak out and do stuff to keep the West in check if they do something he doesn’t like.

However, I think he would take a deal that the whole country will not be part of NATO, with NATO confirmation. And would take that deal yesterday.

PS I don’t think That Vlad wants the Ussr to get back together or wants to assume Ukraine. His country is broke and that will leave him overextended. I think That’s a myth fostered by the MIC to create a bad guy for us to all be scared of so they can justify selling a bunch of bombs to the Ukrainians

Who says I'm relying solely on the US media?

But keep believing you're accomplishing something by sticking your fingers in your ears and going "lalalala" over any reports which doesn't fit your "everything I don't like is a conspiracy" mindset.
