No matter what side you are on, stop and think about that when all these politicians tell you how they are out there working to help you. Try to wake up for just a minute and realize where our real problems lie.

What we have is a centralized government problem. It is all about power. Keeping it or getting it. It sickens me.

Beto posted a video on his Twitter this morning while he was driving and constantly looking at the camera and not the highway asking for donations the day before the election. Still trying to figure out what good would money be used for at this point.

Yep -- and they were lying about it then too. Short of a Constitutional convention, I'm pretty sure we're stuck as we are though. We definitely need Congressional term limits and campaign finance reform.

I wish they would do this like in the UK. I think campaigning is limited to 30 days prior to the general election, and a finite amount of cash.

Right, but they figured out a long time ago that they could use a two-party system to get folks to take sides against one another and worry about the other side more than those in power. They use bread and circuses to appease and fear to pit Americans against one another so that we won’t focus on what the central power is doing.
Think about what happens to any third party. They are made to look crazy or the old “you’re throwing your vote away” line is used. And we eat it up.
