Sen. Joni Ernst, R-Iowa,

Color me SKEPTICAL, but she's been a United States Senator since 2014. I'm wondering why she hasn't tried to push this kind of agenda in the past 11 years?

I don't know. Maybe she's being sincere, but maybe she's simply posturing for her 2026 reelection bid.

(I trust practically NONE of them).

Office of Management and Budget Director Russ Vought has so far announced his plans to withhold nearly $30 billion in federal funding to blue states and cities,

Besides Im sure being illegal the blue states by and large pay more in federal taxes than they take in and the red states take in more federal taxes than they pay. So the red states who are being subsidized by the blue states want to cut their funding? Jfc

It's not a pile of cash that goes to a burn pile. It can still be used to fund government projects, or it can be returned to the people, and either option circulates $2T into the economy.

It just doesn't go to Democrat boondoggles.

OK, Let's start with your Senator and Representative. I think mine and others can leave theirs in Congress to represent us, but feel free to remove yours.

They can gut a lot now.

They have cover with the shutdown.

And the economy is already shaky with numerous jobs cuts.
It had been spaced out enough. Make the cuts.

No, it wouldn’t you imbecile. It’s talking about $2T we will be spending which is not needed.

You Leftists always go wailing and crying when someone mentions cutting the government like it doesn’t get over funded year after year. DOGE absolutely laid all of those claims moot. There is plenty of money that can be cut out if every facet of the Federal Budget

The reality is that government spending isn’t really part of the economy.

i know we’re in a post truth society and also many of poster here (you included) are extremely emotional, but a fact you don’t like isn’t a lie.

have you ever taken even an entry level economic course? do you have any idea what the government spends money on? or are you purely an ideologue and that’s where it stops?

i can’t play professor for you nitwits all day but if you can answer the very basic questions above I can try to explain it to you in a way you can hopefully understand.
