Equity is the hot word right now. Let me break it down for you with a book review.

All we have to do is look at the NYT best seller “How to be an Anti-racist” by X. Kendi to find out what is really going on.
You know the guy who Jack Dorsey gave millions of dollars to. The guy who just got a show on Netflix to indoctrinate children.
The following are direct quotes I wrote down while reading the book.
Equity means discrimination against the group that has too much equity.
... And just a little touch of Marxism for good measure

quote:
A discriminatory policy that produces equity is anti racist. A non discriminatory policy that produces inequity is a racist policy.
The only remedy to past discrimination is present discrimination. The only remedy to present discrimination is future discrimination”
Equity means discrimination against the group that has too much equity.
quote:
Capitalism and racism were twins born together through the trans Atlantic slave trade.
There is an inextricable link between racism and capitalism.
To love capitalism is to end up loving racism, to love racism is to end up loving capitalism. The combined twins are two sides of the same destructive body. They were birthed together from the same unnatural causes and they will someday die together from unnatural causes or racial capitalism shall live into another epic of theft and inequity. Especially if native activists fight the conjoined twins separately as if they are not the same.
... And just a little touch of Marxism for good measure

Equality means we all start in the same place, equity means we all finish in the same place

So they don’t want violence... but want to adopt a political ideology that 100% of the time ends in mass bloodshed

Sort of.
Since it will be determined that you have more equity than a person of color you will have some equity taken from you until “they” decide the people of color have enough equity.
That means in the immediate future you won’t finish at the same place until they decide everything is equitable.

I mean it’s just wrong. Capitalism and slavery are totally independent. They can both and have existed totally independently of each other. You can freely trade goods and services and not trade people. And you can also enslave someone without ever engaging in such illegal and immoral commerce with other people. It’s just not true. Slavery is an evil that exists in the world but I strongly argue that capitalism is not some moral corruption and mistake in the human species.

One could argue that 25 million people in North Korea are slaves and there is nothing capitalist about that country.
It’s a ridiculous claim that is so blatantly false that it doesn’t even deserve a response.

Equity is for those who live in make-believe land. It's not reality and never will be. Life is not fair and never has been. But those who are determined and work hard find some success regardless of the unfair nature of life.

This seems like a long winded version of "blacks aren't capable of earning money unless it is stolen from whites"

I would love to see someone defend these quotes. The usual crew will just avoid this thread though and pretend like it doesn’t exist.
X Kendi isn’t some fringe author. This book is on every best seller list. He’s a hero to the left. He created the racist/anti-racist school of thought that tons of companies and universities have started endorsing.
You have to ask yourself, have they really read the book? Or are they just following the crowd?

Equity is part of the unholy Trinity of Diversity, Equity, and Inclusion. Diversity is defined not by opinion, but by race, ethnicity or sexual identity; equity is no longer the laudable goal of equality of opportunity, but the insistence on equality of outcome; and inclusion is the use of identity-based quotas to attain this misconceived state of equity

Sorry Toddy, I downvoted you by accident, meant to give you an upvote.
They don't want to talk about the equal effort part either.

So,
racial discrimination is anti racist.

Orwell missed that one.

The short version; if you don't give me shite, it's racist

True capitalism does not include slavery. It cannot because it goes against the core principles. Capitalism is about wage labor, markets, contracts, and the rule of law, and, most important, it is based on the idea that markets naturally lean toward maximizing human freedom.

Just be upfront about it, am I now going to be able to play point guard in the NBA for at least a few years? I'm not 6' and I'm my upper 40's, but this is what I want in the name of equity.

In short, for capitalism to work properly there must be a moral compass.
