I never actually believed he was a homophobe. If this is true, I just don't get why you would wade into this...so fricking stupid. And actually morally wrong IMO.

It just make no sense to do this. Maybe this is where my Libertarian streak really kicks in but I just don't give a shite about this kind of stuff anymore. Do I think it's the best thing In the world for the kid? ... No. But it's also not good to have a kid in some shite hole father or mother relationship.
I and my family has known gay couples that adopted kids. Yeah it's kind of fricked up, but they seemed like nice people so who cares.
This, like the weed laws is simply a lost cause for hard core Republicans. Public sentiment is against you and people are so conditioned seeing it now nobody cares anymore.
I just think this is a big misstep by the administration if this is true. Plus Trump has publicly stated he doesn't care about what gays and lesbians do, he's fine with them.
