According to his full autopsy, he had a lethal level of fentanyl in his blood because he swallowed his stash. He did the same thing a year or so before when arrested, but EMS got there quicker and gave him Narcan and saved his worthless life.
One of the symptoms of a fentanyl overdose is respiratory failure among other things.
