The Democrat's version of negotiating is you give them everything they want and they will give you nothing in return.

Is Cotton wanting to become the new Flake/Corker for the party?

Along party lines. Doug Jones is NOT a moderate Democrat he has sided with Chuck Shumer with everything.

Man, kind of weak Republicans only got 51 for Trump’s plan

Why?
Maybe he believes the opposing party deserves nothing. No compromise. Wall money, no strings attached.

They hate a 3 year, watered down DACA, especially after the SC declined taking up the case.

UPDATE: Senate staffers advise the tally read aloud from the chair on this vote blocking the president's plan was incorrect. The correct tally, we are now told, is 50-47.

You mean that post on here that quoted a NYT writer with no link?
It's gotten to the point of just posting fake shite to make yourself feel like Trump is winning. No time to even bother with fake news links anymore.

Cotton and Lee voted "no" on right-wing grounds. They felt Trump was yielding too much to the Democrats.
Whatever...Trump has proven he lacks leadership and presidential acumen.
