That picture is from the end of a game they got blown out in

You will never see a Packers game that empty as kickoff

Nah bro it's totally the boycott that's making fans leave in the 4th quarter of a blowout in freezing Wisconsin weather

Three, five, ten, fifteen years ago there weren't these issues. Even when the Broncos and Packers sucked in the past they were able to at least claim full stadiums and an inability to get tickets if you weren't a season ticket holder.

To deny there is an impact from these clowns' disrespectful actions is to be willfully obtuse.

Please, when teams are losing fans don't show. Even season ticket holders. Should any of them give up their tickets they will be sold instantly. If you bother to look up from trumps a-hole you would see how it works.

You definitely care. You're in every thread about this issue making some dumbass joke that you're still watching even though there's boycotts. No one ever takes your bait. I just couldn't help not calling you a fricking idiot anymore

Today, yes. Twenty years ago, you'd be wrong. So, what's the deal then? Sorry teams being exposed, sorry examples of respect for the flag being exposed - there's 50/50 culpability here.

So, there’s a trend?

Using the smoothed out numbers, about a 3.6% negative trend.

For further comparison.

Over the week 5-11 periods for 2016 and 2017

Ave 2016 978,587
Ave 2017 934,275

Change year over year. Negative 4.53%

I mean, that isn't going to bankrupt you, but, 4.53% is 4.53%. If you're the NFL.......or players hoping to see salary scale escalation........-4.53% isn't your goal.

I agree that the anecdotal isn't terribly useful.

So. I brought in actual numbers.

And no one seems interested

I lived in Denver a good part of my life. Had season tickets several years. They are the definition of snobbery when it comes to their team. Nothing has ever been good since John Elway. And it was only good for his last two years really. This is a fan base where people slept on billboards to protest the team and demand change. Passionate but entitled and fickle.

When the team struggles, people leave or people just say screw it. 4-6 and last in the division is as good a trash. Trash like this thread.

Of course that doesn’t tell the whole story. It doesnt prove who showed up, but neither does cherry picking losing teams. Truth has been for a while that the NFL has peaked. All Trump has done is create a new faction of disillusionment with the sport to go with CTE concerns, millennial disinterest, product fatigue, and social complaints from multiple fronts. But the product still dwarfs any competitors in their time slots and is at least selling out at the same rate, with most teams having long waiting lists for tickets. Then there is also the question about how we measure ratings in general, NASCAR has also seen its ratings drop notably, which fits the pattern of the general decline in tv viewership overall. LINK

The NFL is in trouble and has been, but Trumpkins once again oversell themselves, the game is going to decline regardless because families are not letting their kids play the sport like they used to, and over a generation that is going to severely cripple the pipeline of the product, and the product will suffer accordingly. And kids growing up unenamored with the sport are going to be less likely to enjoy it or embrace it in adulthood as the older fan base dies off.

You should look in a mirror to see who's melting. I replied to your post from 2 hours ago on the first page and you replied within a minute. You're obsessed with this shite

To add a couple of notes.

1. Truth is, as I looked back over the last 5 years, attendance has bounced a bit. This year certainly being lower, but, not egregiously so.

2. If you are posting average weekly attendance numbers up in here without trying to smooth them, you're outing yourself as a numbers tard for at least a few reasons. Not the least of which is that not all stadiums are the same size and not all teams have are solid home draws.

You want to look at TOTAL attendance and even then, you compete with odd individual weeks where randomly, the bigger drawing teams aren't at home.

Also. If you aren't smart enough to account for bye weeks. Just shut the frick up.

Let’s be honest here, if you aren’t getting attention for your protest you aren’t doing it right.

Attention whoring is kind of hand in hand with protesting. Not many successful protests make progress by performing your protest in a dark room and away from outside eyes.

Listen here. This has nothing to do with Trump or his voters.

This has to do with the left’s innate ability to frick up every social agenda it touches. Same thing that’s going on with the #metoo and now Al Franken scandals.

So, don’t break professional football by trying to force feed a bullshite social narrative and alienate half your fanbase and then, all of a sudden, step away, when the shite hits the fan, and claim it’s Trump’s fault.

Man up to your actions. Own your shite. It’s your bed. Lay in it.

You do realize that every pic from a stadium you have posted was from trams that suck. How about some pics from the Saints, Eagles or Pats?
