Can anyone recommend an alternate email service? I want to get off of Gmail and Yahoo. Would like one that is Not Communist friendly.

I switched everything to protonmail.
My Motorola androoid Google phone doesn't like it. It stays with an alert saying I've deleted my account.

Yes, Protonmail, it also has a limited free VPN which you can upgrade to pro service.

If you cNt figure out how to transition your email address change you definitely shouldn't waste the time hosting your own infrastructure you'd likely risk exposing your data to even more people at some point.

You can always just have a hosting company host it for you if you do not want to mess around
But since you own the domain they can't take it away from you
So if a host "cancels" you, you just move hosts or do it yourself. Same address.
