That is not the end of the story. This is what pushed Elon on to the Trump side of the aisle. Doctors (experts) told Elon that if he opposed and prevent this from happening his son would likely commit suicide.
After the fact Elon learn more and more and finds out the opposite is true. Elon feels like his son was stolen from him and it pissed him off enough to turn his back on the dims forever.

In general, I think you’re right; raising children is the most important thing we do. But some people transcend that by doing extraordinary things.

He definitely is trying to do better with him. Though he's in the double digits, so I hope he is trying to improve his parenting with them all.
Obviously his approach to child rearing is not good, but what's done is done at this point. He needs to step up for all. Even try with this tranny one. See if he can get him slowly back on the right path.
