Govt psyops are expensive!
Regarding Twitter’s reduction in force, unfortunately there is no choice when the company is losing over $4M/day.
Everyone exited was offered 3 months of severance.

They should have gotten 2 weeks. Elon is generous.

It's on purpose. He is buying 3 months worth of their obedience to the Twitter employment rules/code of conduct. As they are technically still employed. It delays them from doing anything crazy in retaliation and lets them cool off first.

Giving the months severance prevents the lawsuits in California. California has a law that you have to give a 60+ day notice for huge layoffs, or something akin to that.
But by giving the 90 days and saying they are still twitter employees until the 90 days is up, he has removed that law from being used.

Yep, I think the WARN act would only require 60 days.

and study the US Constitution and write essays on how to preserve it - citing potential things to be aware so there is time to thwart them.

What?
I've been in a similar situation. 7 years ago I worked for a tech company that laid off a tremendous percentage of one its workforces in favor of outsourcing, after all of those employees built up the platform and trained the people who eventually replaced us under the guise of expansion. I saw the writing on the wall and got out like 2 months before it happened.
We felt backstabbed, tons of people wanted to talk open to the media about what had happened, and make a huge stink of it. The only problem was that everyone was given a severance like this where they drew regular paychecks and were technically employees, and had to keep their mouths shut for months in order to keep getting their paychecks. All of the anger fizzled out as people found other jobs during this period and moved on with their lives and I don't even think the story was ever mentioned in the media. This was by design.

Great purchase.
It very well might have been overpriced due to inflated bot accounts.
Many investors have purchased struggling businesses and flipped them to profitability.
If he brings Twitter into the black and rids it from the social rot that permeates around the globe, it's a win win for Elon and society in general, unless you prefer the rot.

None of that negates the fact he overpaid.

Those stupid fricks can't change a flat tire, or jump start a car. They aren't learning any real occupation.

And not a penny of it was your money.
Take your arse-hurt emotions back to DU and cry about it with the rest of the socially rejected losers.
