Yall are crying about someone looking at the payment system.
Someone who detests every individual in the federal government and thinks they are all crooks.

I’m not crying about anything. I’m just a spectator.
You seem emotionally invested in this, but I’m not. I have as much control over this as I do over the moon so why get worked up over it? Federal policies happen to us.

I guess I have a different definition of crying than y’all.
Pointing out that Elon Musk will profit from his newfound elevated position in our federal government is not what I consider crying but you do you.

Ok so lets say the treasury can't stop payments then the next question is why are they on the payroll

So as long as you personally like the person insider trading then it’s okay. Noted.
How does it feel to have no principles?
I'm against anyone doing it, but is it not legal for congressional members to do this. That's what I've always been told. Are they exempt from prosecution or just not enforced? Have never gotten a clear answer on that.

I think the government waste argument is cover for Elon to gain a lot of privileged information he can use against competitors.

The guy doesn’t need anymore money. He’s the wealthiest person in the history of the world. I know it’s hard for you to internalize. This guy bought Twitter and told advertisers who were boycotting to “gfy”. Some of you really overestimate Musk’s desire for profit. It’d be a much more serious argument if you claimed he was after legacy, fame, and being the center of attention. But profit? Dumb take.

Someone nonpartisan cuts the checks in order to ensure full faith and credit of the United States

Oh baloney! Things worked out well for Elon, but when he bought Twitter and raised the battle flag it did not look good at all.
Elon’s two big wealth creators were Tesla and Space X, and both depended heavily on government contracts and subsidies. He was risking a lot. If money was his motivation he would have continued kissing arse like Gates, Zuck and Bezos.
