Let me ask you this.

Does a rocket fly when it uses propulsion to lift it off the ground?

How is this car's propulsion different from a rocket?

Answer that for me.

Relax lady. Its a tech demo of a concept vehicle. This isnt new.

Just be happy that someone other than the Chinese are bold enough to attempt innovation like this.

Has it? Explain it real quick for me, because I'm sure it's easy to discredit.

And you may want to google the definition of flying.

This dude has entire fantasy scenarios playing out in his head that he thinks are real life. All meant to tell him that he is some sort of legitimate intellectual and he proves it on message boards.

He's actually insane.

He's honestly retarded. I think it's his personality that causes most of it.

How bout, your filming a movie about speedy cars and you go for a spin with a buddy before hand, he goes too fast and loses control, and right before your car hits a tree and explodes, the rocket thrusters kick in an avert a crash, then you go back and finish making your movie?

I guess, but I'd have to assume you remembered to put your 8 point harness on beforehand? A typical lap and shoulder belt won't be enough.

If the acrobatic maneuvers are automated, and can happen at any moment the car believes it needs to in order to avoid a collision, it would have to be some rock solid tech.

You'll note the Tesla FSD hasn't been flawless in its execution over the years either and there is some mounting concern on its long term safety.

Having introduced multiple new technologies to the utility industry, during my career……..the likelihood of this being seen as an immediate mass produced product, is strictly visionary at best. In other words, it’s a long way from reality.

Space X lands rocket boosters with consistency….but continues to parachute the capsule to a water landing. This project will involve all facets of land and air transportation. The prototype may fly….but the application for the public will likely be years away from reality.

You people should watch the videos before speaking. You're annoying.

Personally I think there is 0 chance that they don’t make it street legal. It’s just a simple matter of having the computer shut down certain features when on public streets.
