Cold gas thrusters integrated into the body of the car. That's the "SpaceX Package" on the car.

You think they built that huge ramp so as to get everyone all excited about it and then "unveil" a spectacular crash test?
Do I need to build a huge ramp in my backyard for a flying car?
I'm down for whatever it is, looks cool. But you don't need that stuff for a flying anything.

Skateboarders who use similar ramps don't fly, either.

I read earlier today that the FAA has restricted the airspace over the area for the next 16 days. And saw just now they have a bunch of different vehicles under tarps. Looks like they're about to start testing a lot of stuff.

He's pretty triggered lately. He is trying hard not to become a full-fledged member of the ankle biting retard clan.

Just like electric vehicles weren’t new when Tesla started making them

What is your definition of fly?
The act of sustaining and directing motion through an atmosphere by generating aerodynamic lift and exerting control over trajectory and attitude.
This would be in contrast to what the Roadster is likely to do, which is projectile motion.

We'll see. I like Musk and what he does overall. SpaceX is one of my favorite companies because it proves what I argued in favor of for decades and that's a private company can do things better than the government.
But when it comes to his claims, I take them with a grain of salt.

Laughing at you isn't being triggered

He hasn't really claimed all that much on this though. He's said it's "beyond human" and that his friend should be able to buy a flying car if he wants one. That's about it.

Supposed to be for grip on the road by using extra downforce to increase traction
The thrusters push down, not up.

COVID delayed it obviously.

Correct.
I'm laughing at you, not Elon.
Which makes people failing at the simple logic and thinking they're dunking on me that much funnier to an actually smart person.

We're witnessing a full blown break down.

The guy from Tesla on the YouTube link embedded in the OP says the car should be able to leave the ground.
Whatever it is is beginning now.
