I’m sure your wife is a wonderful person. This mentality is pervasive and it’s a problem. We are all socialized to believe this. We are conditioned to only care about ourselves and not our neighbors or communities. Of course this is intentional because the elite can’t allow any solidarity among the working class. But this toxic individualism doesn’t help society or the country.

This is how we get the Doge cuts. Cut off their campaign money.

I assumed this was his intention all along.. if an idiot like me knows that the GOP is utterly useless and needs to be replaced completely... I figured the smartest man in the world would know it too.

Things won't change until times get bad enough.

But we are on the way.

Elon was under another name on twitter I think he is pissed. He just came back as Elon Musk.

I hope this is not real and AI.

This isn't something we can all bitch about and it goes away or is forgotten with the next news cycle. This is the USA collapsing.

We have no remedy the GOP don't care. They won't listen. They want to lose.

The democrats and neverTrumpers will now be thrilled we are back on a path of economic collapse.

His next political project should be completely remaking the GOP.

Trump significantly increased spending and the deficit last time he was president so I’m not sure why anyone believed him when he said things would be different this time. He’s just like every other politician.

I disagree

The guy runs multiple massive companies - those companies need his leadership back.

He did his 120 day contract so he is going back to running his businesses.

Meanwhile, he has built DOGE and trained many new and now full time employees that work on DOGE all day. In other words, he’s not really needed because he has already trained everybody.

It reminds me of our Education woman - I think her name is McMahon where the very first question to her was what was her plans and her answer was simple “to put me out of a job”

It’s kind of the same concept.

DOGE is still firing on all cylinders and will be for a very long time in the future but his companies need him back to running things.

Soros funds bad and evil politicians, judges, DA’s, etc.

Elon needs to fund some white hats from ground level up.

Elon could buy farmland and sell it interest free to refugee South Africans.

But we need to rescind the fraud they found. Rand Paul is right about that. Once we get the “Big Beautiful Bill,” I want to see votes to rescind the fraud.

So how can we fire them all immediately? Recall petition of them all.

Are they so greedy they would want America collapsing before they lose their slush funds and money laundering?

Will Speaker Johnson say they HAVE TO have this money so they can all live comfortably in DC; and have some guy bent over in the well of the capitol getting sodomized and video taped? While they fly the flag of Ukraine.

Can't

The math doesn't work.

Our GDP has to grow appropriately 5x every $1 of tax revenue.

Trump's budget looks to pass the $2T deficit mark, so to make that up we'd need roughly $10T in GDP growth.

You support a 100% effective tax rate and wealth redistribution. You should sit this one out, toots.

Musk tried to play the Republcan Party for fools.

He literally threatened to primary life long GOP members before Trump got into office.

How do you think they would react? To a billionaire who's only here because he donated $200 million to Trump's campaign? Is he appointed to head DOGE if he gave only $2 million?

Trump's most popular policy among Republicans was his Tax Cuts... that barely passed Congress 215-214 despite 5 democrat Congressman have died in office since January.

DOGE has no mandate, therefore Trump is not going to spend precious political capital on it.
- cutting spending might lead to recession
- Trump must increase spending to offset tarriffs impact
- politicians do not want to be blamed for USAID cuts, fed layoffs in their district / state or medical cuts to 3rd world countries. Voters can now sorely blame Trump and Musk.

- Musk's money cannot win them important races like the WI Supreme Court race and he just implied he wont be donating significant amounts like that anymore.

What use is he to the party?

Us siding w/GOP is no different than moderates being Dem. Fine line between the two parties now.

Wish Elon would cripple those dudes campaigns. Seems only scum bags are running for office nowadays.

I have heard many many many times that the only thing house republicans were concerned about was the big beautiful bill - since that is now out of the house I think we are going to see a whole lot of great action coming up.

This Big Beautiful Bill was the only thing Trump wanted them to really hammer down and they got it done. I personally think we are going to see a lot of movement with the EO’s, fraud shite that everybody is screaming for answers for, DOGE cuts, etc. it’s going to be a new day in the house after this weekend
