Elon Musk’s super PAC starts spending to boost Ken Paxton in Texas

quote:

WASHINGTON — Elon Musk’s America PAC waded into Texas’ U.S. Senate race for the first time in recent days, dropping almost $250,000 to boost Attorney General Ken Paxton and attack his Democratic foe, state Rep. James Talarico.

The spending, disclosed this week to the Federal Election Commission, was part of an $800,000 outlay for Republican House and Senate candidates around the country — America PAC’s first spending activity this year. All of it was earmarked for “printing” — typically things like mailers, signs and flyers — with the nearly-quarter million dollars in Texas accounting for the most of any race.

Musk, the world’s wealthiest person, reportedly authorized his PAC last November to spend more than $100 million this cycle. He met with House Speaker Mike Johnson, R-Louisiana, on Monday to discuss plans, according to Politico.

That’s going to put a few GOPers through.

Meanwhile, the DNC is on the verge of insolvency.

All that is needed beyond a ground game is to put tons of clips of Talafrico's quotes, comments and posts. He's a weird leftist nut case.

As a trillionaire, to a family with an income of 100k, this is the equivalent $10.

Honestly, I don’t know why someone like Elon wouldn’t just drop a few billion to lap the field and buy the outcome he wants. With enough advertisements, the US electorate is easily manipulated.

As soon as Elon puts out the Starlink phone I’m throwing my iPhone away and dropping Apple forever. I love this man. No homo!

Wasn't Texas the first state to pass laws banning foreign purchases?

Maybe it was Florida.

Same. I don’t even remotely like Paxton, voted for him twice already, but I do hope he wins. TX better pray he does.

So now we'll have Musk pushing through GOPers but the Soros crowd limited to their own funds instead of USAID filtering millions of tax dollars to their causes?

I'll take it.

I agree. I never have ever liked Cornyn. He was always an obvious snake in the grass.
