This is troubling.

Breitbart

McConnel needs to address this.
The Chinese are clearly buying American political influence.

This looks as bad as the Biden China dealings.

If she's guilty then she needs to be held accountable.

Doesn't make it right

Her ties to China have been known and both her and Cocaine Mitch need to be held accountable if allegations are true.

Yet, the steel her family ships is the target of the tarrifs of this administration . I guess the narrative of this article seems silly in context..

Just imagine if all news outlets were interested in actually reporting on issues like this instead of the daily Trump bullshite.

The swamp would drain itself.

There were 2 former Obama officials on TV yesterday , who said the Times article was long, boring, and full of inaccuracies, and that the Chaos were investigated ad nauseum, and nothing was ever found.

Is it possible that Cocaine Mitch has gone gangster at his role in the Judicary Committee as a penance for his past frick ups?

There are crooks on the left and right....and I don't trust McConnell one bit. However, I will take his political clout as a contribution towards getting Trumps agenda delivered. Then maybe we can turn attention towards term limits and reforming the republican party for the better. If guilty of anything, needs to go to jail. Equal Justice for All.

25 million dollar gifts from foreign companies should disqualify a person from serving in Congress.

Mitch worth 3 million in 2004 and now worth 38 million all while making 300,000 a year and supporting two households one in Kentucky and one in DC.

This is why our government makes decisions which hurt the American people but helps corporations both foreign and domestic.

Yep.

Any gift or sweetheart business deal from a foreign gov - especially an enemy state - should be automatic dismissal.

Ugly up there. Over the last couple of decades I think we (our policy) truly believed that we could work with the Chinese (cheap and productive labor) to advance all interests. However, China (Marxist Ideology) essentially does recognize Private/Individual Rights, as does our Constitutional (God-given Individual Rights) principles...and therein is the rub, and conflict.

The Chinese have used their trading largesse to build up their Military in ways that will be a threat, and their island-building and militarization of the Sea of China pretty much defines their intent.

So, McConnell and many now find themselves in an uncomfortable scenario. IMO, given McConnell's superior work re the Supreme Court nominations, I'll give him a pass, with a clean up of future economic/lobbying ties to China. "Don't muzzle the ox that treads the corn".

The sad thing is that the Establishment entitlement and corruption runs so deep that they call in favors and stack the deck even when it’s not even necessary. All Elaine has to do is shut up and watch the money flow but she has to insert herself into everything because that’s how these fat , greedy Kleptocrats do things. A plague on all their houses.
