E. Jean Carroll makes stuff up and passes it off as non-fiction. Read her “biography” of Hunter S. Thompson. I did and it’s the only book of hers I’ve ever let pollute my library. Fortunately for her, the defendant in her lawsuit had a lawyer who committed malpractice by not putting on a proper case for the defense.
