Yesterday it was reported the investigation was winding down. No one ever said no more charges. Seems made up.

Its all part of the dog and pony show.
Spooks have conveniently created two rabid camps angry at each other. Nice political theater.

No surprise, that’s was his job from day one.

The timing is perfect too.
More ammo for the left. How many years of $$$$ spent and nothing.

Aren't political opponents allowed to do opposition research? Aren't they allowed to make bad decisions and purchase bogus info from consultants and opposition research firms? Aren't they allowed to release this info? Isn't the press allowed to publish information that was given to them?
There has never been a criminal there there. It's just straight up dirty politics with a complicit dishonest media.

"Trust Sessions", "Trust Huber", "Trust Barr" "Trust Durham?"
But I never trusted any of them and never will trust our government or our courts again.

I'm not basing my mood on what Slay News says.

Of course. That’s why the corrupt FBI raided Mar-a-Lago. They knew Durham was wrapping things up and Trump would release Crossfire Hurricane documents to the public.

Who are you talking to?
Most of the people on this board are pretty aware of the corruption. There was never going to be any real damage done to the power of the state to surveil whoever they want whenever they want.
And that would be the only result of actually investigating this. A curtailing of their power.

Not sure if this is believable or not. For instance, I never heard of "Slay News", and the author uses the pseudonym of David Hawkins.
David Hawkins (February 28, 1913 – February 24, 2002) was a professor whose interests included the philosophy of science, mathematics, economics, childhood science education, and ethics. He was also an administrative assistant at the Manhattan Project's Los Alamos Laboratory
Not saying it's wrong, just will have to look for more sources.
ETA; The first hit from a simple search shows this thread as a "source".

And he uses NYT as a source but I don't remember them saying this. Maybe I'm mistake or someone can link this.

Oh please! They used the FBI and DOJ. Not only that, those agents put over those investigations sought to undo Trump and still are.
They lied to a FISA court.
They planted evidence.

Durham Inquiry Appears to Wind Down as Grand Jury Expires
The special counsel appointed by the Trump administration to examine the Russia investigation seems to be wrapping up its work with no further charges in store.
By Katie Benner, Adam Goldman and Charlie Savage
Sept. 14, 2022
WASHINGTON — When John H. Durham was assigned by the Justice Department in 2019 to examine the origins of the investigation into the 2016 Trump campaign’s ties to Russia, President Donald J. Trump and his supporters expressed a belief that the inquiry would prove that a “deep state” conspiracy including top Obama-era officials had worked to sabotage him.
Now Mr. Durham appears to be winding down his three-year inquiry without anything close to the results Mr. Trump was seeking. The grand jury that Mr. Durham has recently used to hear evidence has expired, and while he could convene another, there are currently no plans to do so, three people familiar with the matter said.
Mr. Durham and his team are working to complete a final report by the end of the year, they said, and one of the lead prosecutors on his team is leaving for a job with a prominent law firm.
