What exactly is wrong with the bill?
When it passes by a 300 vote margin, maybe the problem is you?

We all know Tik Tok is a problem. But the bigger problem just became this bill. It now gives the government power to shut down any website (including this one) and any application. That’s why it’s a Trojan horse.

Exactly. Additionallanguage in the bill would allow for the originating apps to be shutdown as well. To me, that alone offered extreme censorship capabilities to the political party in power.

People are not against banning tiktok, it's the vaguely worded bill that gives the government the ability to ban any website they see as a threat that's the issue

The good news is if they force the sale of U.S. TikTok the CCP will be forced to purchase our data, like Meta and Google data, through the new TikTok instead of mining it.

I'm more concerned about LifeLog/IG/FB being preinstalled on every fricking phone that Erik Prince doesn't sell, since they're just CIA spin-offs.
