This is not a military equation. The "Cadet Bone Spurs" thing was barely passable when she was trying to cut military support, and got called on it. Now she seems to intimate the loss of her legs gives her the right to avoid decorum, civility, and tradition in a nonmilitary setting.

It doesn't.

For a reference point Ms Duckworth, check out Bob Kerrey's approach to the same equation when he was in the Senate.

Its only important when republicans haven't served. For democrats its a badge of honor to go overseas and lead war protests.

“We don’t live in a dictatorship or a monarchy,” Duckworth tweeted soon after he made the comment. “I swore an oath ? in the military and in the Senate ? to preserve, protect and defend the Constitution of the United States, not to mindlessly cater to the whims of Cadet Bone Spurs and clap when he demands I clap.”

She has got to stop thinking people are telling her what to do. Being a double amputee does not protect her from others casting opinions on her actions. President Trump did not tell her what to do, he merely questions your faulty judgement.

Like I said in the other thread. who's bright idea was it to put an asian woman in charge of flying a helicopter?

2.) so what about the veterans that supported Clinton? is your opinion more valid than their's?

One of the more tired tropes on either side:

- Someone makes a valid point by saying Group A generally supports Issue/Candidate X.
- Supporter of Y says not all in Group A support X, so nyah, nyah, nyah.

Saying Group A (ON BALANCE) supports X does NOT mean there are no Y supporters in the in the group. Picking this fight makes you look either disingenuous or stupid. Take your pick.

Rocket-propelled grenade

She lost her right leg near the hip and her left leg below the knee[13] from injuries sustained on November 12, 2004, when the UH-60 Black Hawk helicopter she was co-piloting was hit by a rocket-propelled grenade fired by Iraqi insurgents.[14]

Although she would have you believe she was "in charge"
she was, like a good co-pilot, just waiting for her next order to comply with.

A good co-pilot doesn’t sit there waiting for an order. That is called a sandbag. Good helicopter co-pilots share responsibility with the pilot and should be taking care of other things.

I don’t care for her as a politician but I haven’t heard anything negative or positive about her performance in the cockpit.

You are a loser of epic proportion for writing this. Duckworth has credibility on sacrifice and military service. By your comment, you probably don't, and neither does Trump. You can disagree with her politics, but her bravery and what she gave up gives her a pass on this issue.
