She's a count and actually was in a high spot in the VA during it's worse times.
She uses her wounds to voice her opinion yet doesn't help veterans when that should be her top priority.

She using her miltary career as political capital way too much. She lost her legs during a miltary mission. She deserves her VA benefits and much more. Far as her political career, I want hear her polticical views not her miltary service.

How ironic that these hippies who protested the FBI and other government institutions in the 60's and 70's as extensions of the fascist state are now defending them?

It's getting way out of hand on both sides. Hell, even local politicians are getting into the act. We have had a left-wing version of Arden Wells here in Ponchatoula with Vinny Mendoza. He ran against Scalise for CD1 but unlike Wells doesn't run for every office under the sun. He sure liked to remind everyone he served in the Air Force. Yet he didn't really do anything and didn't impress many vets such as myself.
Then there was Pat Farris who prominently displayed his single Navy-Marine Corps Achievement Medal on his campaign flyers. He didn't like my comment on Facebook and promptly banned me from commenting when I asked: "I have four Army Achievement Medals, does that make me more qualified to run for 7th Ward Marshall?"

Just because she is a veteran doesn't give her immunity from being a dumbass which she apparently is from being unable to distinguish what a treasonous act is and isn't...
