I’d advise any out there inclined to buy her pie-in-the-sky snake oil to perhaps listen to regular people from around the world who’ve actually had to LIVE under communism.

Hell, even the Euros visiting from the watered-down “only Socialist” countries are in slack-jawed amazement at how good we actually have it here in America.

Until you start actually applying second-level questions and consider more than just the surface area of the problem.

I’m convinced that the frontal lobe of liberals is underdeveloped when compared to conservatives on average. Their hippocampus, however, is likely larger… but therein lies the issue. The heart bleeds more when the logic isn’t present.

Politicians, like this slag, are abusing that fact and playing to it. Say simple things and the simple minds will agree. Socialism is the best answer they provide because they won’t have to suffer through it when it hits… they’ll be the benefactors.

She doesn’t realize it yet, but even she is expendable to those who truly want socialism. Nobody is safe in a socialist society, nor a communist one.

I agree. Giving folks money to splurge at Wal-Mart for steak and lobster solves nothing.

Having a government store where you get an automatic credit on the first of the month for your family's rations of beans and rice, as well as weekly rations of chicken, eggs and produce would absolutely solve "hunger" - for those who are involuntarily "hungry".

Having an easily monetizable "benefit" with little to no restrictions is just another vector for fraud, waste and corruption.

(ETA: Housing is more complicated - if you give folks housing without restrictions, then you generate drug dens, open air drug markets, people cutting holes in walls where they think a "doorway" would be more efficient, selling plumbing fixtures, wiring, etc. If you place restrictions on this government - meaning taxpayer - provided housing, in addition to being extremely istophobic, those folks just don't want the housing, then.)

Everytime we give people free or near free housing they turn it into a squalid, drug and crime ridden ghetto.

Poor people are so hungry here they are fat.
