Pretty sure that the Biden campaign funds reside with the Biden and not the party, which means they have to meet the Bidens’ price to release the funds back to the party.

This is the problem for the Dems with the money being sent to Biden-Harris 2024 rather than the DNC or ActBlue.

There's only 124 days left until Election Day, but there are 201 days until Inauguration Day.

The shortest presidential term was William Henry Harrison with an unbeatable brief stint of 32 Days after dying of suspected typhoid.

But the second shortest term was the assassinated James A. Garfield after only 199 Days in office.

Kamala could reasonably leap into second place if there are just a few days of delay in the torch-passing.

I’m sure this thought is running through her head right now - “what can be, unburdened by what has been”

Got it. Thanks.

Garfield got shot and spent most of that time lingering while doctors poked around looking for the bullet.

Democrats have no one else that’s remotely close to being a national name so their only option is the one person that makes Hillary Clinton look decent by comparison. They really blew their load with Obama.

TIL that he lingered for 79 days before dying.

IIRC, Guiteau didn’t get executed because his attorneys would have been able to argue that medical malpractice killed Garfield rather than the bullet.

Edit - Wrong, he got executed after all.

The prospect of saying that the president once sucked off Montel Williams is comedy that almost writes itself...

It's amazing that this woman's entire career consists of failing up. No accomplishments in anything. Just the right face at opportune times

Agreed, the people celebrating this are naive in thinking she can’t win. As a matter of fact, it’s better than 50/50 that she will. She will play very well with suburban moms in Atlanta, Philadelphia, and Detroit. If Trump loses those states, it’s essentially over
