What if he put a "however" in the speech, around 41 seconds in? Does that change things for anyone?

triggered?

I was just saying the Drew said they "represented the country well". Mocking another country is something he must have missed

Defending yourself against left wing spaz attacks makes people snowflakes. Yeah, good luck pedaling that one, sparky.

And George Will's opinion means precisely jack shite to me.

Your use of the word in bold makes you exactly a snowflake.

No, you constantly reaching and prying for some new angle to desperately try and win an online argument you have no legs to stand on....

....makes you precisely, exactly, super duper a snowflake.

Sure seems like an overly-simplified generalization there, but let's just assume it to be completely accurate...is this the highly-developed, productive way to accomplish less division as Rapinoe appears to call for, this retribution game? See it sorta calls into question the genuineness of the battle cry of yourself and others similarly situated like Megan Rapinoe of "fight the good fight against divisive ideology and rhetoric"......by way of divisive ideology and rhetoric.

Just seems like an honest effort against those things would more resemble a breaking of the cycle of division rather than simply adding more to it. Im seeing nothing but the latter and there's nothing heroic or helpful or legitimate to it. Merely "gotcha last."

This premise requires weight to be given to Rapinoe’s words.

I don’t know what she said and am uninterested in it. Tree/woods.

Seems like nothing to me since I haven’t chosen to make her words or opinions important to me.

When you decide that the opinions of a member of a team who plays a sport you don’t even like are important to you, you’re the divisive one. Because you’re making your opinions a chip on your shoulder, and the mere existence of different opinions becomes an insult to you.

As I remember, this was something done pretty much by the left, but now the right is doing it, too, and it is undeniably effeminate.

Rapinoe's approach is in its not-all-too-original way quite representative of the larger "war on divisiveness". The larger picture is simply fighting divisiveness with more divisiveness and whether it's her, or Colin Kaepernick, or members of Congress, or 2020 Dem hopefuls, I dont think promoting more defiant division as a way to fight division should be held out as honorable for anyone.

Someone's got to get bold and break the cycle for it to even begin to heal up.

ETA...perhaps Rapinoe changing course and going to the WH and initiate open discourse with the President would seriously put her in high regard. Sounds great to me, but who knows what others think abt that.

What a fricking piece of shite Drew Brees is.

Those women acted like narcissistic clowns.

Oh well, add him to the list.

....and at that moment, he sprung from the cafe table and exclaimed with a sultry lisp “frick yes Drew!” while simultaneously feeling the sudden onrush of embarrassment as he realized just how gay he appeared to be.....even to his good friend Toddy whose flamboyant antics know few bounds.
