Collins just said so on Bartiromo's FBN show.
Will continue to pursue the Georgia Senate seat.

And if he doesn't win then he figures Trump will do something with him in Trump's second term. Win/win situation.

If Trump wins GA, Collins will win GA. It was actually close in GA last election. Believe it or not, Wisconsin was actually called for Trump before GA was. Republicans in GA need to get motivated to vote this year. They need to understand that the dynamics have changed in GA and Repubs aren't coasting by anymore without their votes. Even the 6th district went to a democrat after Repubs won the special election 6 months earlier

MAke GA..great again

Guess the "acting" DNI will have to stay.

Networks playing games. Trump won GA by several-fold the % margin of his Wisconsin win.

At first I questioned the announcement of his DNI appointment before knowing if he would accept. THEN, I saw it as a twofold positive for Collins. First, he gets to prove his love and commitment to the people of Ga. Secondly, the recommendation to this high level position raises his image to the Ga voters.

Doug should have taken it. Not that he’d be any better a DNI than Senator, but whatever. Hopefully Loeffler and Trump stick together and Doug’s ego doesn’t screw up the GA delegation.

Doug Collins has been doing God's work, no raise needed, he's already at the TOP

Absolutely agree. I don't know what her past is in politics but she is constantly on tv/radio and all her ads are the same...I have long blonde hair, I like church, I like guns, I like Trump. She may be great for all I know but she sounds like she's running for 9th grade class president

Unfortunately, you’re right. I think Loeffler draws in the Atlanta swing voters better than Collins would. I really like Collins, but we need him in the House right now.

Loeffler is designed to be a bridge to your center of the road Atlanta people who havent voted R in a few years in an attempt to woo them back. Collins would be much more formidable in her seat but I get why she was put there.

Doesnt make it any less annoying that I have to watch this shite unfold these next few months because it will go to a runoff.

Trump got 50.3% of the vote and won by less than 5%. That is a big deal in a state like GA. And it wasn't networks playing games, it was vote tallying in North Metro that was coming in more for Hillary than Donald. Just saying, GA Repubs need to get motivated again to get out and vote

The Senate would never confirm Collins. Collins is too independent and doesn't appear to be beholden to the swamp.
