Don't be fooled, The (D) flip on Tik Tok is a prelude to WWIII

3 yrs ago Dems wnt nuts when Trump tried to ban Tik Tok.
Now, they're leading the charge? Why?
Well... If they start escalating tensions more and more with China and shut down one of their biggest tech companies and spy operations, then China will be more emboldened to take Taiwan, which will likely be the match to the gasoline to officially kick off WW3 (which has already really been going on since last February).
The Democrat party does not care about your privacy and neither do 90% of Republicans.
It's all just a prelude to a hot war.
Thw left did not just switch on this issue for no reason.
Same goes for the unanimous investigation into the lab leak. It's all been ordered from Winnie the Pooh.

- Pelosi rustled jimmies going to Taiwan.
- We had all the weird balloon shenanigans.
- Lab leak is now acceptable to discuss.
- Bipartisan hearings a few weeks ago on the China threat.
- Now Tik Tok is getting beat down by both sides.
I know all about the neocons and Russia, but it's weird to see all of D.C. all of a sudden gunning for China.

To be fair, Tik Tok could be used to deliver malware to 150 Million Americans simultaneously and turn them into a bot net for Denial of Service attacks or a million other things and if it's new enough not to get caught they could basically just shut us the hell down completely internetwise, cell towerwise, etc.
The surveillance stuff is just passive. They're collecting your meta data, and yes, they could use it to collect anything they wanted on your phone if they wanted to target you directly.

It’s because tiktok has been calling out dems on there. Politically there’s more right side and conservatives on tiktok than libs freaking about politics. Tiktok is pretty much normal arse Americans figuring out their niche. There’s a reason why they (the youth) is on there, because everyone is on there. 150m American users. This website and certain posters are taking this way outside the box.
The reason why they are going after it is because they’re not making money off it and it’s not in their control.

I posted this in another thread, but Dems and Reps being hardcore united on something must mean it's something serious that could very negatively affect them.
I don't trust them as it is, but when they actually work TOGETHER in unison, it worries me.

China isn't invading Taiwan. We'd shut down their oil and food imports and cheap shite exports and they'd starve. Russia doesn't have enough to keep them afloat and even if they did, the Russians don't want Yuan.

Sure...if they want tiktok then they are completely free to move their asses to china.
I have an older friend (not that bright) but he is convinced that everything on tiktok is gospel.
It is not good for society....neither is FB or twitter...hell, the internet that I am posting at this very moment for that matter.

Traditional media is mad that people are spending that 1.5 hours/day on TikTok instead of watching The Nightly News. Now they are paying congress to fight their battles.
To act like TikTok is collecting any more data on its users than Google, Amazon, or Meta is laughable and hypocritical.
