USA Today

How fricking tone deaf are the people on that side who refuse to see the astounding level of irony and/or hypocrisy for this to come from THE PERSON who got caught blatantly cheating Bernie Sanders?

I don’t know which is worse: Her thinking this is legitimate, her thinking OTHERS will think it’s legitimate, or the people who really will think it’s legitimate.

quote:

Since summer 2016 Democrats have called on Republicans to join with us to help protect our democracy. When I was party chair I reached out several times to Republican leadership to issue a joint statement in support of free and fair elections, but sadly I was ignored or outright refused.

On the other hand, I do like that it is one more case of the Dems just shooting themselves in the foot. I am encouraged that even several of their people are distancing themselves from this farce.

You are not her intended audience.

It was just really unfair that wikileaks released emails that showed concrete proof that the dnc was rigging their own primaries.

It's also fricked up that those poor msm outlets were a target for those emails. It's a sad state of affairs, when most msm outlets can't collude with the dnc against republicans.. without the risk of it being public knowledge.

Technically, I don't think they really cheated Bernie. He should have done something better to win or have bought the super delegate votes (which happens to be 1/3 of the votes needed win the nomination and the vote of the people is irrelevant).

So did Bernie get the questions in advance? Technically asking of course.

Donna Brazile passing debate questions to Hillary in advance.

DNC targeting Bernie’s Jewishness.

Just off the top the top of my head.

Then turn over the servers and Hillary's emails.

Don't get mad at Donna. She knows her audience.

Be mad at people like Toddy, Rex, A Want, etc, who encourage Donna. She couldn't do it without millions of useful idiots.

Is there just one progressive out there with enough self awareness to admit the irony here?

I agree they clearly treated Bernie poorly and favored Hillary, but is any of this against DNC rules?

The Dem nomination is set up with super delegates to make sure they have control of their candidate pick to ignore the vote of the people if they so choose. The bar for cheating someone out of such a nomination seems higher than leaking potential debate questions.

Exhibit A when they ask the judge to dismiss ALL charges will be Donna Brazille's own book.

These people operate as if every day they wake up people are supposed to forget what was done and said yesterday. Amazing.

I get your point, but you are splitting an infinitesimally fine hair. Do you really need a rule to say that passing along debate questions to one candidate and not the other is prohibited?

Even as far away from each other these words have no business in the same sentence.

Democrats have no shame. I'm starting to think that they are guilty of everything they've ever accused conservatives of doing. I'm not a conspiracy theorist but if the DNC starts accusing the GOP of killing Seth Rich then I'm getting fitted for my tin foil hat.

It won't get there. I think it will fail on 12(b) motions for standing and failure to meet Iqbal. But that is just me.

If I were the lawyer for the Repubs, I would answer and counterclaim immediately. That way the Dems could not 41(a)(1) it anytime soon, and they could not avoid the discovery simply by 41(a)(2)ing it later.
