Seems like he was arrested in LA and will face a judge today so I don’t think this is happening in Minnesota.

He will be in front of a judge to be extradited to Minnesota.

This isn't just "revenge" like the Libs want you to believe. He was indicted by a Grand Jury:

Journalists are supposed to be protected but I don’t think that applies if they are participating in or assisting with the activities that they claim to be covering.

I am no legal expert although I play one on the internet. That does not look like things that are consistent with journalism. That looks like assisting the people who broke the law. Which like I said earlier I do not believe that assisting those breaking the law is not considered journalism and therefore not protected by the 1st Amendment.

I went to High School with Don. Nobody cared about his predilections. In fact he was voted Class President. I guess he never found a way to make money without grifting.

I was curious. Lemon was born in 1966, would have been a HS Sr ~ 1984 at Baker HS per wiki. According to the 1980 census, Baker, LA was over 83% White. Yet, he's voted class president, and he claims he's discriminated against, and claims White Privilege at every turn???

Little Lemon's TDS was well established in 2018.

2026, and now that bundle of sticks is headed to jail for civil rights violations and a federal law designed to combat the KKK, and Trump is STILL President!

Have you heard of Judge Parker? Desegregation destroyed the nice, blue collar City of Baker schools.

EBR Deseg story from The Advocate

Sorry about the paywall. Switch to Reader mode to read the whole article.

quote:

Mathews said Judge Parker’s order relied too heavily on force and should have focused more on voluntary student transfers, magnet programs and other more popular desegregation tools.

“It really alienated Black and White parents alike and didn’t fix the problem it set out to remedy,” Mathews said.

Baker High went from 65/35 white to black to 65/35 black to white over one summer in 1982. Kids from Zachary, Central, Baker and Scotlandville all faced forced busing and desegregation rules.

Don was one of the kids that joined BHS.

ETA: I never saw Don receive any racist comments. But he may have since Baker had a good number of dickhead country folk. For the most part the school liked Don. Hence his Senior Presidency. He and I got along fine.

I got my years wrong. The deseg happened in the Summer of '82. So the class of 84 had two years of our new Baker Buffs.

Don Lemon getting arrested isn't the flex you Pam Bondi meat-riders think it is.

The MSM will get behind him and make him a martyr and poster child for the first amendment.

Just a reminder to them that The Blaze's Steve Baker was covering Jan 06 as a journalist protected under the 1st Amendment yet the DOJ through the book at him. Why is Don Lemon's case any different? If anything, what Lemon did was much worse.
Baker simply walked into the Capitol building filming the event. Lemon burst into the church and jumped in the pastor's face with his stupid camera asking him why he was against poor immigrants.

And he was indicted by a Minneapolis grand jury which is pretty insane. And grand juries are chosen completely at random as well.

thing is an unequivocal win for him. It makes him a martyr and ten times more famous with no significant consequence. Lemon was totally irrelevant prior to this. Nobody watched his show or even knew that he was still alive. Now he’s relevant again. He’ll almost certainly get another job in cable news on the heels of this. The only way to make this a win for the good guys is to punish him severely. Make the reward of fame and martyrdom not worth the cost. If you won’t do that then you never should have arrested him.
