Reports vary but they say between 10,000 - 17,000 people were arrested in the riots following George Floyd's death.

And how many of them were held in jail with no bail and no trial for 2 years after the event?

That's a hell of a lot of FBI agents. DC office is going to be a ghost town.

How many even faced actual charges? How many faced federal charges?

From memory about 200 people were arrested for trespassing during the Kavanaugh hearings. OMG, trying to disrupt democracy, it's an insurrection. Most were released and a few paid minor fines.

I get if you're a liberal something like this isn't going to make you vote for DeSantis. But you should damn sure be embarrassed and concerned about it, not making jokes or shrugging your shoulders.

Innocent until PROVEN guilty, as the kids say

But I suppose that’s no big deal since it’s people you disagree with

Most were released

Most were released immediately and returned to the scene, after being told by a federal magistrate that they wouldn't be bonded out until after the weekend for doing the exact same thing again. Now the federal judiciary acts like trespassing on federal property and obstructing a proceeding is a bigger crime than 9/11. People like Mickey and that Mailman troll are beyond saving. They believe that our institutions are fundamentally good, when they are in fact irredeemable.

Every single person arrested from Jan 6 is still in a DC jail? That’s what you’re saying?

Well they weren’t trespassing during the hearing. The building was open to the public. Those that were arrested were for disorderly conduct.

All those who rioted and destroyed property in the summer of 2020 should be locked up as well.

Canned talking points from a card carrying member of the groomer party who knows his Comrades in the DOJ will never go after the people responsible for the summer of 2020.
