DOJ is completely screwing up Flynn case

if they were smart they would appoint a new prosecutor and reinstate the charges. Give Powell all the Brady material and go to trial. Let her call Strzok, Priestap, Page, everyone that unmasked Flynn and go to town.

Going for a dismissal gives Flynn an out by reducing what is spent on a defense going forward and giving Sullivan fewer ways to prolong this and/or invent charges to use to hold Flynn in contempt.

This is why the DOJ wants to drop the charges. The Motion to Dismiss is based on Flynn waiving his right to any outstanding documents.

This is not the same DOJ which prosecuted him. There is a new boss in town. Those and other documents can be gotten through the IG investigation.
Why leave Flynn dangling to serve some political purpose. Remember,until the charges are dismissed he still has it hanging over him. Who blames him for not trusting any one.

Why do people keep saying this? He ALREADY pled guilty. Unless Sullivan lets him withdraw the plea (unlikely), there is no trial.

They've steadfastly refused to produce the original Pientka 302. They've refused to produce the Flynn-Kislyak transcript. Emmet Sullivan has already (unbelievably) ruled that the FBI needn't bother. He's willing to throw the book at Flynn regardless.
It is a corrupt process, initiated by corrupt members of the DOJ, and overseen by a corrupt and/or compromised judge.

Flynn has already plead guilty. The judge would have to allow Flynn to withdraw his guilty plea first.

Sure that's applicable. Heads up, there's an election coming and Trump is not guaranteed to win, especially with the mail in voting push.
