The Mullahs forced the Shah to abdicate. Wasn’t that enough revenge for overthrowing Mosaddegh using your flawed logic? The embassy was stormed after the abdication of the Shah and the Beirut bombing occurred after the Ayatollah had already seized power.

You do see these threads daily, but more often than not the upvote to downvote ratio for the OP is typically weighted somewhat heavily towards downvotes. Yet the most hyped up posts throughout said threads are typically weighted heavily in favor negativity towards Trump, although a relatively small number in comparison to the aforementioned negative Trump posts. Hence, my conclusion a/the silent majority is clearly in Trump’s corner.
