Make the leaches pay the welfare back. If and when they become employed, garnish their future wages until it's collected back.

Reagan declared a War on Drugs. By 1990 most states had mandatory minimum sentences for drug offenses.

Go ahead, show one post that backs up your slanderous lie that the posters are angry at the kids and not their all too often worthless, lazy parents.
And so you want their kids to starve. I’m sorry but I don’t think you love your neighbor as yourself or you couldn’t write that

I don’t care what you call yourself. In my opinion, you’re just a useful idiot.
Nobody is saying they want kids to starve. Point me to all the posts where this was actually said. If you aren’t giving all your money to the poor kids then YOU want them to starve. This isn’t even close to logical.
How come the parents can’t pay, can’t grow, can’t teach the kids a self sustaining way to eat? Why is the government responsible?
Why is the government even paying for kids lunches while they are in school? It’s not the governments responsibility. So why should they do it during summer months?
Answer these questions.

Because they spend money on drugs, alcohol, cigarettes, lottery tickets, etc. The government doles out benefits but can't teach people to put the needs of their children first.

And so YOU want MILLIONS more kids to starve in the future because you don't want to actually fix the problem.
You want to virtue-signal and feel good about yourself, nothing more.
In the meantime, future generations are doomed thanks to people like you and 4Commies.

He accused Conservatives of "bloodlust".
I've asked him no less than 4 times to post one instance.
He is a lying, virtue-signal, Cosplaying Christian.

This thread gas zero to do with abortion.
However kids sometimes have shite parents. That don't want to take care of them.
Not every parent is good and takes responsibility otherwise they wouldn't have kids they can't take of.
Someone has to do it.

Hasn’t backed up his child hunger stats either. I linked to USDA stats showing much lower numbers than he stated.

I saw, you completely destroyed that narrative.
I also know that you don't post a lot and that when you do, an arse whipping usually follows complete with links/receipts.
Respectfully, you are on my "do not pizz off" list....

I do think the bloodlust and venom some of y’all feel for poor kids
Yet, you seem to want to skirt accountability for it by insinuating to respondents that "some of y’all" does not pertain to them, but rather it references others here.
Can you quote posts from various users which you suppose are indicative of bloodlust and venom directed at poor kids?

I've asked him at least 4 times.
Zero examples.
If we don't fix these problems now, then we are dooming millions in the future to the same or worse fates, but at least pretend, "New Age" Christians like 4Commies and Maad can sip their Lattes and pat themselves on the back whilst reading passages from their gender-neutral King Jane/James Bibles.

Reality is plenty of parents can't. And people want more babies born into poverty.

That blue line starts rising rapidly in the early 1980s? In 1981, Reagan signed the Omnibus Budget Reconciliation Act, shifting the financial care of the mentally ill back to states... which had already closed the majority of their mental institutions and had limited power to commit psychiatric patients to them even if they had still existed.
This is a very interesting graph.
You may well be correct in your interpretation of the data and presumption of cause & effect (Reagan's Omnibus Budget Reconciliation Act, 1981).
Another interpretation of the graph data:
Was 1968-1974 a unique time in US history?
Was America during that window of time at "Peak Mental Stability"? (how much did the recreational drug use and meds prescribed to seniors during the late 60s and early 70s create the rapid upsurge in institutionalization and incarceration?
There happens to be statistical evidence that 1971 was "PEAK AMERICA" by several metrics.

These people are already receiving benefits for those kids, why do they need more for the summer?

I’ve said several times it’s not the government’s responsibility for practical reasons (namely the government can’t do this type of thing without making things worse). All I’ve said is that if your response to the government doing that isn’t, this is a bad idea, but an angry post about how the poor need to be taught a lesson by their kids being cut off from food, you’re not imitating Christ. I don’t care what you call yourself either.
