Does the US currently have the capability to manufacture drones at large scale capacity?

Seems like it could be a problem if not.
I’m talking military grade specifically, but we probably need general capability as well.
Anyone know?

Why would we do that when we can just buy them from our enemy who will certainly not sabotage them in any way?

I've watched several interviews with Lucky Palmer and reading between the lines, we have alot of capabilities that nobody has a clue about.

Not a single drone has ever been built in the United States of America.

Nope, no we don't.
Maybe on garage scale like Ukros in some R&D, but nothing even remotely mass produced.

We don’t make or build anything anymore so my guess would be no

We still have factories and electricity so yeah. We built a nuke in 1944. I think maybe we could make a few million.

No. Close. With the necessary resources it can be accelerated.
But if it kicks off tomorrow, no.
Eta: i believe this is in part why theres is i crease in mil spending in BBB. But i cant say for fact. They need to pump serious money into an Anduril for example.

If I recall correctly, Ukraine sourced these drones from Turkey.

I haven’t seen which drones they used today.
The ones from Turkey were what got Ukraine started.
They manufacture a huge range of platforms now at a scale we cant. FOR NOW.
Eta:
These are not the Bayraktar for example

Our industrial capacity has been severely compromised over a period of decades, so my guess is that we're behind multiple other countries in drone manufacturing capacity. Unfortunately, many of our politicians and judges would rather we continue to import critical technologies from places like China than allow Trump to address the problem ASAP.
China, on the other hand, could probably crank out enough drones in a week to take out a large chunk of our entire power grid or water supply, if they somehow found a way to sneak a few hundred operators into the country...
Here's an earlier thread on the subject. Short summary; we're dependent on China for components.

Idk the scale, but this is my thought process as well. The idea that we do t have the drones, let alone the capability is laughable, especially given the fact that we lose track of money by the bbbBILLIONS

Well we do have nukes. So..

Just gotta retool any number of idled car plants in the country for mass drone production. It would take maybe a couple weeks and we'd be cranking them bad boys out by the metric frickton.

The US has the capability to do anything. We live simply lost our way. National populism is the only way back.

…and AEVEX Aerospace, Google Phoenix Ghost…they’ve delivered thousands to Ukraine

These recent attacks should concrete the fact that this is the new way of fighting guerilla type war. Defending should be our top priority.
We know that the signal can be jammed. Im guessing Russia did not have the capability to jam these because they were all individually piloted remotely.
They can also be preprogrammed to strike a target. Preprogrammed drones cannot be jammed.
