As opposed to what? Do you think if we can just somehow figure out a way to plug in some generally competent policrat type at this point, this all will go away and we will return to normal?

Proved to be too smart and it threatened him:

Name them

Told him no they would not do something illegal

Name them.

Told him no you can't nuke a hurricane

Name them.

Commented that he was not that bright

Go call the boss stupid and see what happens in your line of work

Very few of these alters were even around in 2016 or before to remember what this board was like then.

The way Trump conducted himself during COVID started to make me realize he wasn’t who he claimed to be. Then when he began to praise Newsome, Stacy Abrams, and Andrew Cuomo while attacking Ron DeSantis, I knew it was over.

The position of the presidency means nothing. It is only a figurehead position. This country is run by the deep state via corporate oligarchs.

Trump tried to make the executive position relevant. He tried to make it the presidency a position to help American citizens. He made some decent inroads in that direction at the beginning of his presidency then the corporate oligarchy via the deep state said enough.

The corporate oligarchy want their fricking war, open boarders, energy dependence and one way free trade from China to America and they will get it. There are trillions at stake and they will be damned if they will allow the office of the presidency to stand in their way.

I guess so.

You think anyone is going to sit back and listen to a good fiscal policy discussion at this point?

I'm not sure anyone has a firm grasp on who's been played here, or more importantly who ISN'T - IF ANYONE.

I'm certainly wary of convincing myself I haven't. Are you sure for yourself?

What?

I posted what Trump said in the second post in this thread, today.

Flats was talking about a comment I made about Trump running to stay out of jail a couple of days ago.

When Flats asked, "I thought you said Trump was running to stay out of jail", I replied that he thought correctly.

It started getting sad with the stupid “Ron DeSanctimonious” nickname and went downhill from there.

Trump fans: frick the clot shot!

Also Trump fans: pretend he didn’t rush it and vote for him because everyone else is an establishment hack!

They’d rather a democrat instead of an establishment Republican and it’s going to lead to a Biden victory, which will inevitably lead to a president Harris, which will lead to an elected President Harris, which will then lead to a re-elected President Harris.

Trump fanboys will be the precise reason we have 15 years of a President Kamala Harris.

Before the first debate with Biden, I would say he’s one of the most naturally gifted politicians I’ve ever seen.

Starting with that debate, then how he acted in the aftermath of the 2020 election, he’s been very stupid, bordering on lunatic, and done nothing but sabotage himself and his side politically

He has literally turned into the very caricature the Left tried to formulate for 4 years.

How am I being emotional?

I'm not committed to voting for Trump, you realize? I'm committed to voting for someone who actually sees the issue at hand, though.

It's not fiscal policy. ETA, I actually wish it was.

He's going to dismantle / destroy the administrative state and go to war with the politicians that have enabled it.
