Does the CR require 51 or 60 votes? Seeing conflicting info

3 Dem senators have come out in support of cr. If all republicans are in board, why will there be a shutdown if only 51 votes required?

It's 60, but even if it was 51, there are still like 6 Republicans voting no.

It requires 60 for cloture--to proceed with a vote.
The vote itself requires a simple majority (51).

60 for cloture. There are some archaic rules that could be invoked to allow for 50 to pass final. However, it appears unlikely that will happen.

Technically it only takes 50 with a tie break by pence.
Practically it takes 60 because without 60 you can’t break a filibuster

only certain things like appointments are done with 51 votes as of now.
they need to, and can do it at any time if they wanted to, change it so they never need 60 votes again and everything passes or fails needing 51 votes

It only takes 51 if they get to vote on it - but it takes 60 votes to break the 'filibuster' keeping it from being voted on.
