Are you serious? Also, if he was raised in GA, then why would you even ask this question? Answer: He was not raised GA.

Carville's earliest political campaign work was ripping down the campaign signs of a candidate for public office during high school.
Carville graduated from Ascension Catholic High School in Donaldsonville, Louisiana, in 1962.
He attended Louisiana State University (LSU) from 1962 to 1966, but did not graduate at that time. In a 1994 feature in Newsweek, Carville characterized himself as "something less than an attentive scholar. I had 56 hours' worth of Fs before LSU finally threw me out."
Such a scholar

Even if he's from Georgia (which he's not really) you're still calling someone from Ga. a Yankee?

I'm not a fan, but your posts....well.... Carville said he was "something less than an attentive scholar", so what's your point?

Landry is a joke in many ways but this might be the highest. Dude you’re the governor I get it you shouldn’t HATE LSU but this guy acts like he legit went there. He never stepped foot on campus.
Landry could use his position to boost up his Alma mater in Lafayette but that doesn’t suit his agenda so…

Would never have guessed he made through USMC boot camp...even if he was a Hollywood Marine.

James hasn’t been relevant for several years now. I don’t even think his fellow libs care much about him.

I hope his car disappears on the Atchafalaya one day and they never find it. Not even in 100 years.

Make no mistake, he doesn’t like LSU. He’s ULL through and through. But in this state you can’t hate LSU and be in politics so he just pretends in order to further his political career.

Right. You obviously don't know. Just because you're born in one state doesn't mean you were raised there.

Carville was born on October 25, 1944, at a U.S. Army hospital at Georgia's Fort Benning, where his father was stationed during World War II.[4] While his mother, Lucille (née Normand), had stayed behind in Carville, Louisiana, where James was raised, she traveled to Fort Benning long enough to have her firstborn son born there. Later, Carville noted: "We were availing ourselves to free government health services."[5] Lucille Carville, a former school teacher, spoke French at home, and sold the World Book Encyclopedia door to door.

I don't have to assume because I've known for many years.
I don't think he sounds redneck, but that's an opinion just like your opinion.
Some versions of French Cajun vary by geographical location in Louisiana.
You really should have checked your facts before you raged over him.

If he’s got real balls he would sign an executive order to rename ULL back to “The University of Louisiana”.

Oh shite a fraternal brother… different school but frick this!
Posted on 4/29/25 at 4:38 pm to BigBinBR
He hired his cousin as State CIO, and she went to ULL so there's that.
