everything don from queens does is to enrich himself. it's kind of his jam. and his brand was in the toilet leading up to 2016. bankrupting casinos, incredibly stupid side gigs like trump steaks and trump university
and speaking of in the toilet, by all accounts the doral resort is circling the drain. free global publicity for a g7 summit sounds like it could be a nice boost

Obama already hosted the G7 at Camp David and it's time for something different elsewhere in the United States. Not everything about America is about DC or the Northeast Corridor.
Variety is the spice of life and it's time to put Florida on the world stage.
Besides, I think it's impressive that we have a President that owns multiple venues capable of hosting such a prestigious international event. Why not put that to good use?

I had to think about this objectively because you're right, I thought I'd be pissed if a Democrat did it. Here's the issue: there hasn't been a single Democrat businessman my entire lifetime. They are all career politicians and complete government hacks for the most part. Maybe not in the House but these presidential candidates that are polling well all sound like they have never seen a P&L in their entire lives. The stuff that bothers conservatives is the apologetic, moral relativism that we always hear.
