Detroit used to be a big deal and have large economic output too. Look how that turned out. Liberal policies ruined that town. However, America as a whole continued on.

Do you think his asinine ramblings deserve more substantive responses? Have they actually been substantive at all? Your panties are just in a twist because you sympathize with him. You can go take a nap yourself, dickwad.

Bad business decisions ruined Detroit more than anything else. You’re wishcasting here, and it’s a little odd.

So essentially the same thing as GDP?

lol, you can just admit that you didn’t know the term. It’s ok. We don’t think that you’re very smart to begin with.

No one cares where you’d rather live. What’s weird about some of you is that you actively wish harm or bad fortune to others based on where they live. You must have some sad things going on in your life.

My point was that the rise or fall of one city isn’t going to make or break America.

I didn’t say that it would necessarily, but I don’t think that the fall of our largest city, and one of the World’s leading financial and artistic centers would really be good for America. I’m certainly not hoping for it to happen, but you’re free to do you.

I didn’t wish harm on them. I said that I simply didn’t care. One is active and the other is indifferent. If they want to be stupid and elect a socialist mayor then that’s their problem. America will be fine either way.

It’s a classic great city that I’ve enjoyed visiting.. it comes down to cost, ease and security on whether I return. It’s gotten worse every visit the last 25 years and not sure when I’ll return..

I’d love to see Trump go Gangs of New York style on that city.

I care. I want to watch that clown show and laugh. Let it be an example.to the rest of the nation. Remember when those dipshits voted to defund that police in various towns? That foolishness didnt last long

Yes. That shite is going to incubate in our largest city, and world financial hub. And nothing will stop it from eventually spreading to your backyard.

They could elect Hugo Chavez for all I care. I haven’t been to that city in decades. That part of the country is dying rapidly. Companies are moving out of New York and California and into Southern states. The South is now the most populated region in the country. I say let NYC rot.

Well, NYC is still considered the financial and banking Mecca of the West, maybe more of those big Wall Street firms need to relocate to the Midwest, Southwest or Southeast?

Not really. The residents of NYC will elect whoever they want and reap the consequences. It is what it is.

If Haile, LA (whereever the frick that is) ever gets hit by terrorists for some reason, I probably won't care either.

Neither would I, but a terrorist attack wouldn't improve the place like one hitting Atlanta would.

I hope the opposite is true: that it'll be such a failure that the rest of the country notices.
