The Marxist Feds will perpetually try to make everyone believe we're still in the 1920's and 30's when it comes to the whiiiiiiiite supreme groups.

How weird is that?

Anyone? I’m sure anyone who has lived in Louisiana for 30 years knows many people that voted for DD

Why? Many reasons, but one of them is because the other guy was a tried and true criminal

He showed up at my fraternity house in college while running for Governor. My impression was that he's very intelligent but also a sleeze.
Don't think I voted for him.

Plenty voted for him. There was a big sign along I 10 in Metairie that said “This is Duke country.”

Didn't Duke run against Edwin Edwards? Edwin bragged about being a crook. Lots of old women back in the day thought Edwin was handsome. Basically Gavin Newsom except he admitted to being a crook.

My grandparents where very conservative and very much democrats. Crazy how much the parties have changed.

My 83 year old dad was a Democrat until 1984. Now he watches Newsmax all day and honestly believes Trump will get 50% of the black vote.

Yes.

Because he knew Edwards and his cronies would rape the state and do all sorts of illegal shite with the blessing of the Legislature.

Duke would not have been able to do shite for 4 years unless it was a perfect bill.

My grandfather took me to see Duke speak live and in person on the front steps of a local courthouse as he campaigned for governor. There was a good number of people there. We shook his hand. I must’ve been roughly 12 years old.

I’d go to Durham, NC. There are a lot of Duke signs over there.

My parents have always been republicans but when I met my in-laws 20+ years ago introduced them to my parents I asked my wife about their politics beforehand and she said they were democrats so I kinda braced for fireworks. They were democrats who hadn’t voted for a democrat president or governor since Carter

Their state rep was Charlie Stenholm who was one of the last blue dog democrats.

I didn't. I know two black ladies who said they were going to and couldn't believe I wouldn't. They liked some of his rhetoric (he did spout good rhetoric at times). I told them they shouldn't trust a word that came out of his mouth, so I don't know if they did or not.

Duke was a chameleon, changed his skin to best suit his latest objective. Most politicians do the same, but his notoriety made his changes overtly obvious.
