Fair question, but that misses the point. It’s not about if taxpayers have paid yet. It’s about who is protecting LSU from ever being put in that spot again. When the same agent represents both the athletic director and the coaches he hires, that’s not a winning setup. That is a conflict of interest waiting to happen.

Landry is trying to make sure the next deal is done right and that LSU stops signing blank checks to the same circle of people. He is doing what real leadership does, calling it out before it costs everyone more in the long run

Everybody’s mad at Jeff Landry but he’s dead right. LSU’s been handing out country club contracts and acting like nobody’s accountable. Ninety five million for no playoff and now a fifty million buyout? That’s a joke.

And he’s right about Scott Woodward too. The man’s been playing monopoly with LSU’s money like it’s his own. Same agent that reps the AD reps the coaches he hires. How’s that not a conflict of interest? You think that setup’s about winning or about who’s cashing the biggest check? Landry just called it out loud when everyone else was too scared to.

He said Woodward ain’t picking the next coach and good. He shouldn’t. When you blow that kind of money for those results, you lose your privilege to keep calling the shots. LSU belongs to the people of Louisiana, not to a few insiders and their agents getting rich off mediocrity.

Landry didn’t cross the line. He drew one. Finally somebody’s putting their foot down and demanding real accountability at LSU. And if that ruffles feathers in Baton Rouge, maybe that’s exactly what we need.

ACTUALLY, at least for this “fragile conservative”, it’s that Jeff didn’t bother to pick up the phone and discuss his displeasure with Mulkey or Woodward before running to his tweeter like some teenage drama queen. Be a man and have the conversation with those folks and be direct with them on what you expect. Anyone who has actually paid attention over the past decade knew this would be Jeff’s M.O., though. Dude can decide to either be an effective Governor like DeSantis and Burgum, or he can be a social media “influencer” like Laura Loomer. I think this is what is wrong with conservatives. Your fragility. Jeff has been doing a good job and because he as Italy stands for America now y’all have a problem with it… Democrats can do whatever they want and stick together..
