that’s been swallowed up in these riots?

Near Northside Chicago here. They’ve ripped up and looted a pretty large section of town not far from me and obliterated a Best Buy, a CVS, a furniture store, and a liquor barn about a nine iron from me last night and tonight.

It is very odd. The street on which I live has been very tranquil - lots of families out, walking babies, patio beers, etc. during the day. Go a block or two from here and it’s chaos in the evening and at night.

Not even close — my hood has 4 houses in the country outside of a southern town of 10k.

Stay safe.

Only riots around here would be if the restaurants and bars don't all fully open back up.

I moved to the mountains to avoid that shite. This is my first riot season I’m not worried about.

Difference in where you live and where I live. First of all, people in this part of the world know dam well their asses would be shot smooth dead if they tried the shite I have been seeing TV. I mean burning, looting, Robbing and threatening peoples families. No law enforcement needed just a bunch if dead fools lying in the street but no burned buildings, no looting and NO stealing

Have a friend who owns a condo building not too far from you. She is on the top floor. Her building is surrounded by National Guard.

She is scared to death.

I live in downtown Mobile. We had a minor skirmish when the Democrat Rioters attempted to block an entry from downtown to I-10.

Tear gas was used and they broke up. This is about 8 to 10 blocks from my house. I was doing some yard work - heard some police siren activity but that all. I had my two handguns close in case the Democrats decided to attack my street.

I'm west of Elgin Abu, but kinda in "the country" Pingree Grove, so I've been lucky to not see anything.

I run multiple Portillo's and we shut all of them down at 6 PM. It's crazy

I live in NE DC and it has been very quiet in my neighborhood tonight and last night.

Let's pray that continues

I live on 5 acres, neighbor on left has 50, one on the right has 100. Don’t think I’ll see any looting. God help anyone coming out here to cause trouble. Sounds like a war out here sometimes with people target practicing.

Stay safe neighbor. I’m over here in Bay Minette and hopefully we’re small enough that chit will not hit the fan here. Seeing all this crap does have me alert though.

I don’t know how far you hit a nine iron, but that seems a little close for comfort for me. Stay safe.

I hear my old place in west loop is still okay. I will be upset if anything happens to that area.

Nothing but a bunch of white people having peaceful protests in Geneva/St Charles/Batavia. The folks here on social media are pretty disgusted with the more violent aspects of the riots in Minneapolis and DC.

Some questionable stuff is happening in Aurora though, but the cops are definitely out in full force.

Same here in Lafayette.

Don’t know if it’s the bros down here are more chill and a lack of soy boy Antifa types.

But everyone knows the suburbs are packing mucho heat. Maybe that’s why.
