It takes decades for the typical American to form a clot large enough to bring about death. This could be a slow, invisible killer. What you have no idea of, to make your statement is:

* Are blood thinners being prescribed at a greater rate than 2 years ago?
* Is the age of patients getting scripts for blood thinners getting younger?

Just because they arent dying, doesnt mean they arent seeing the doc due to adverse health concerns
