I think George Floyd would still be alive today if he wasn't a druggie

It was drug induced suicide by an imbecilic fuktard felon.

Without regard to that the officers at the scene did not intend to kill him.

Probably not that day. But sooner rather than later.

I doubt Chauvin’s actions did Floyd any favors, yet certainly the level of drugs in Floyd’s body was a contributing factor in his death. Based on the autopsy, the level of fentanyl in Floyd’s bloodstream was at a toxic level for the average person.

Of course, repeated drug use leads to a higher level of tolerance so it can’t be definitively stated that Floyd would have died from fentanyl poisoning on that day. Yet the autopsy also found traces of methamphetamine in Floyd’s body: Floyd was systematically killing himself long before his encounter with the police that day.

His lifestyle was not conducive to surviving much longer. 46 years old, overweight, using fentanyl and probably other drugs, and in constant trouble with the law. He would not have made it to 50 for sure.

Whenever this topic pops up, I pose the following query:

Considering that Floyd also suffered from heart disease, what exactly is the doctor-recommended dosage of methamphetamine to be taken in conjunction with fentanyl considering that preexisting medical condition?

I’ve yet to get an answer to that question.

He died because he shoved all of his fentanyl down his throat so cops wouldn't find it on him. It's literally on bodycam footage.

Yeah..he had it coming living the way he was. Sad that he had to drag down others along the way. It still does not excuse the cop from letting up when you could see the guy was about to croak

I think it’s possible to say that Floyd was trash and the cop had no intention of murdering him, while also acknowledging the cop should’ve gotten his knee off the fricker’s neck once he was cuffed.

I don’t know if Chauvin broke protocol. But Jesus man, get the frick off his neck.

With enough fentanyl in his system to kill an elephant?

I’d say the likelihood was high.

If not that day he wouldn’t be alive today regardless. He was a piece of shite and good riddance.

Im sorry but under the law this is not what the jury found. They found it was intentional and the primary cause of his death. Trump is discussing pardoning him, but that would only affect the federal charges. He is still facing time under state charges I believe.

No, I don't believe George Floyd was going to overdose regardless. I know there are people who read "opioid toxicity" in his autopsy and leap to that conclusion, but his encounter with the cops put a lot of stress on his body and that was the proximate cause of his death.

I further suspect that he had no idea that the bill he was trying to pass was counterfeit.

I say all of this as a Trump voter who does not in any way support BLM or the riots associated with them. If you're looking for the moral high ground, look elsewhere.

Not sure. Depends on if he had already taken all the fentanyl or if he downed it all because the cops were approaching him.

do you think the knee to the back of his neck contributed?

No. We can say with certainty that this was not a contributing factor.

I believe the stress of arrest, along with methamphetamine caused cardic arrest.. Not the standard police hold.

Granted.. his dumbass wouldn't have swallowed everything in an attempt to get rid of the drugs. But.. that seems more like a mental issue than an issue with being arrested.

Would be like someone in illegal possession of a gun... freaking out and swallowing several bullets, and shoving the gun up his arse. And in doing so, he fricks something up in his body, and dies. Just because police approached him.

He overdosed and wasn't EMS on the way??? Sucks to go to jail because someone OD's and you get charged with murder.
