Do you support what you Representative is doing in DC?

For once I actually applaud what Bennie Thompson has proposed: Housing allowances for Congressmen.
Bennie's proposal is laughable, but we should look into housing these congressmen and women in dorms or military barracks
LINK
Bennie's bill would also prevent lawmakers from living in their office.
It only took him 30 years to have a decent idea

Graves is a pretty solid Congressman. We could do a lot worse.

My rep is Matt Gaetz FTW.

Most have rollaway beds for their offices.

Higgins has voted correctly most of the time.

Graves has been great at representing the entire CD 6 constituency.

My rep is the most conservative member of Congress in history.
So, yes, he is doing OK.

+1
If JBE wins re-election I want to see Graves run next time around.

Scalise took a bullet for us- his constituents- so he’s 100% A++ in my book.

I'd love to know how this was determined.
I know mine's not, though.

Barry Loudermilk from GA-11 is solid. Enough so that I'm considering volunteering with his local office.

No. He’s done an ok job of securing some legislation for our region (Central/Eastern WA). But he panders to the illegals (agriculture means lots of migrant workers even though the district is very conservative) and the farmers so he can go frick himself. He was one of a handful of republicans who voted yes on the most recent dreamers legislation.

Only if they are setting paper sacks of dog shite on Adam Schiff's porch and then lighting it on fire and ringing the doorbell.

Congresswoman Dr. Michael Burgess, Republican 26th Congressional District of Texas is a terric, conservative congressman who reps me very well!

Graves is solid... could do without the climate change bullshite tho

Overall, Graves is about as good as you can hope for from a shithole like Baton Rouge.

Somebody should inform Bennie that landlords will accept bribe money as well as his salary.

Hey Vicchio, That's an old article from May of last year. Not exactly sure what happened to the proposal. Bennie Thompson is my areas representative that has been in office for way WAAAAY too long.
For the amount of money these guys make in addition to their salaries via perks, lobbying, they can pay for their own lodging OR keep sleeping in their offices. Giving them funding for housing would be nothing more than another way for them to take advantage of the system and the tax payers.
just my opinion.
