The reason is a tweet she issued that was racist against Jews in Israel. She has since then apologized for it.

Interesting observation by Rep. Ilhan Omar.
She should look at her constituent base in the 5th Congressional District in Minnesota. It's 63.6% white, mostly of Norwegian, Swedish and Danish descent, and traditionally Lutheran.
I don't think Ms Omar would be in Congress if racism is as systemic as she claims. I have a feeling Kevin McCarthy is excluding her for some other reason than racism and/or xenophobia.

Yep, makes sense. I think she's absolutely correct that those are good reasons for her to have been removed.
