Pause.

Breathe.

Demand a clean bill.

I know you people read this board.

I've got some bad news for you.

Trump didn't seem to mind the Kennedy Center money based on his comments at the press briefing--very disappointing.

Pretty sure you misinterpreted his comment. I think he means it’s better to have no bill than this bill.

Trump will 100% sign it if it makes it to his desk.

I don't mind the Kennedy center money, it's a drop in the bucket, but cut all of that other crap. Give them that 1 little win.

That was basically his stance, but I feel like they got more wins than that.

How dare you address only the situation at hand with common sense!

I took it another way. Trump wetting their fuses.
MSM probably waiting for him to not go along so they could show..once again..how he wants people to die.

He's playing the long game, imo.

Yeah nobody is voting for Biden because trump signs this bill. He should have vetoed every budget he’s signed too, buuuut he didn’t. He’s looking out for his own re-election just as much as the rest of ‘em.

I won’t see a dime.

But, 2018 =/= 2020. Not by a damn sight.

Well he is in my opinion being a pragmatic leader and knows we have to get money circulating ASAP and understands in realistic terms that they have to toss a bone or two out. Time is becoming a critical integer here.

As it stands now, the economy was made sick/harmed to treat the viral sickness, now we must rush to fix the illness befalling the economy. Sometimes you don't have the luxury of time to make better decisions. We have to stabilize things in the present then sort things out when there is time

So it was originally a 1.8 trillion deal. Now it's a 2 trillion dollar deal. So they got 200 billion dollars of pork I'm guessing.

Need to pick your battles.
$25 million is .00125% of the overall bill

If 99% of the bill is good, then pass it.

Trump is a deal maker. He NEVER expects to get 100% of what he wants.
