Look at all the "nothing will happen" crowd crying because Trump is trying to do something. It's almost like you want nothing to happen just so you can whine about it.
I remember a time when conservatives wanted Trump to go after the lying media that helps ruin this country. Now they are running cover for the media lies by attacking Trump.

People wanted him to go after the lying media and still do.
The problem with Trump is he only gives a frick if something is about him, and topics like this aren't even close to being what people wanted.
Will the media be held accountable for all the covid lies? frick no. Will Trump remotely go after them for costing so many people their lives, their businesses and such as a result of their lies? frick no.
But oh no, some lady nobody really gives a frick about said "mixed results" instead of "outstanding success" and that's what gets the attention. That's where the lie was crossed?
It's all about his ego. He doesn't give a frick what they did to everyone else.

I’ll put it to you this way. The president is surrounded by bad arse lawyers who inform him on the laws. So he for sure has a legal basis. Moreover, the FCC will follow all laws when investigating.
