@Osint613
U.S. President Donald Trump:
"It is my Great Honor to have just signed Pardons for six people who were persecuted by the Biden Administration, and were in, or being sent to, prison, for “fixing their car.” While I know this sounds ridiculous, it is nevertheless a fact, and part of the Weaponization and Stupidity that our Country had to endure during four long years of Sleepy Joe Biden. I AM SETTING THEM ALL FREE, RIGHT NOW! President DONALD J. TRUMP".
From Grok:
These 6 people were convicted of Clean Air Act violations for tampering with or disabling emissions controls ("deletes"/tuning) on diesel trucks to boost performance or cut repair costs. Trump calls their cases Biden-era persecution for "fixing their car" and weaponization of govt. It builds on earlier pardons like Wyoming mechanic Troy Lake's and ties into right-to-repair debates. Names/details expected from White House soon.

Seems like a small fine should be the most severe of a penalty possible for that

He wants to pardon Diddy but that would be a massive mistake

The govt doesn’t use DEF but your life can be ruined if you delete it on your personal truck

He needs to pardon Kory Willis in LC and refund him his money
Also pardon Heavy D and Diesel Dave AKA the Diesel Brothers in Utah.
quote:
Kory Blaine Willis of Lake Charles, Louisiana, was sentenced in federal court for orchestrating one of the nation's largest diesel emissions tampering software operations.
As the president and owner of Power Performance Enterprises Inc. (PPEI), Willis was prosecuted for manufacturing and selling aftermarket software "tunes" and "delete tunes" designed to bypass, disable, and defeat emissions control systems on diesel trucks nationwide. According to the U.S. Environmental Protection Agency (EPA), the widespread use of these illegal devices resulted in more than 100 million pounds of excess air pollution.Case
Breakdown and Sentence
The Charges: Willis and PPEI pleaded guilty to conspiracy to violate the Clean Air Act and to illegally tampering with vehicle emissions monitoring systems.
Financial Penalties: Willis and PPEI were ordered to pay a massive combined $3.1 million in penalties, consisting of $1.55 million in criminal fines and an additional $1.55 million to resolve a civil EPA lawsuit.
Confinement & Probation: In December 2024, a federal judge sentenced Willis to 10 months of home confinement as part of a three-year term of probation. His company, PPEI, was placed on five years of organizational probation.Business
Pivot: Following the crackdown by the U.S. Department of Justice, Willis was forced to destroy remaining delete inventory and completely pivot PPEI's business model to focus exclusively on emissions-compliant tuning software.
Also pardon Heavy D and Diesel Dave AKA the Diesel Brothers in Utah.
quote:
The "Diesel Brothers" were hit with significant penalties for violating the Clean Air Act. The initial 2020 lawsuit—brought by a private environmental group rather than the EPA directly—ordered them to pay over $850,000 in fines, plus an additional $928,000+ in legal fees in 2021.
The high-profile legal battle centered around the modification of diesel pickup trucks.
The Core Charges
Emissions Tampering: The group was found guilty of illegally removing legally required emissions equipment, such as Diesel Particulate Filters (DPF) and exhaust gas recirculation (EGR) systems.
Defeat Devices: They were charged with installing and marketing "defeat devices" and parts designed to override vehicle emissions control systems.
Testing Results: During the case, one modified truck was sent for lab testing and was found to emit 36 times more pollution and 21 times more particulate matter than a compliant diesel vehicle.
The Fines & RepercussionsIn March 2020, U.S. District Judge Robert Shelby ordered the team to pay $850,000 for hundreds of Clean Air Act violations, a portion of which went to Davis County, Utah.In 2021, the court ordered the defendants to pay an additional $928,602 in legal fees to the plaintiffs. The courts also placed a permanent injunction prohibiting them from removing emissions equipment or selling modified vehicles, and mandated that these fines could not be dismissed in bankruptcy.

This should be voluntary.
If you feel enough environmental guilt, it should only apply to you.

This is good news since I have a deleted truck and skid steer.

Trump better not pardon Diddy. I swear one of his biggest weaknesses is wanting to be loved by everyone. Especially by the coloreds. You would think if Democrats were actually smart that they exploit this hack, but their TDS overrides all logical thinking.
