As a conservative, I actually care to make the world better for my children.
Same “conservatives” pretending there isn’t a housing affordability problem will be the ones asking why young people didn’t vote Republican.
It needs to be addressed or a huge percentage of people that voted Trump will begin to look elsewhere for answers.

By the way. A bunch of people applying the "micro solution" would like lead to fewer needing the "macro solution".

What are you babbling about?
Shouldnt a cuckservative like yourself have a free and clear home to leave to your kids?
They can sell your trailer if they want then buy their own home
With a 30yr front loaded mortgage or a 50yr or maybe a 100yr loan
Either way they will own a home vs renting. Dont you want your kids to be a homeowner? Its what you are crying about.

Do you have kids? Or any family whatsoever like nieces or nephews? Honest question.

This is basically gibberish and not responsive to anything I’ve said.

The market will take care of prices....always does.
interest rates are more important!

That would be fine if jobs and wages went up accordingly. That's not happening.
The job market and take home pay are both improving.
The Democrats did a lot of damage under Biden.
Globalist are the ones who want to drive people to beomce permanent renters. Trump is fighting them in several ways including trying to prevent corporations from owning more than a small percentage of real estate in residential areas.

The question of why anyone should have to "work very hard" to obtain an existential necessity remains open, as does the related question of why people have to own a home in order to "build equity", which in turn poses the question of why we have to "build equity" instead of just making decent wages.
of course, this is all to give our economic and political system (and the people who own and operate it) far more credit than they could ever deserve - In reality, every formal justification for the existing framework is a lie, and any explanation they give is at best disingenuous misdirection, as they continue the program of mass exploitation and wealth extraction from the labour and lives of the general population.

You are correct. My IQ is pretty far north of 90.

i think you have me confused with someone else. What I was presented with was, "Nothing I buy has gotten any more expensive."

I don't have TDS. I give Trump credit where it's due. i just don't give him credit when it's not due.
You have TDS. Trump Deification Syndrome.

Evidence doesn't matter?
"Nothing I buy for myself has gotten more expensive" is not "evidence," you fricking moron.
It's an anecdotal statement with a data set of exactly one.
Good grief so many people here are so stupid. And the frustrating thing is that stupid people don't understand that they are stupid, because they're too stupid to be able to see it. They think everyone else is stupid.

I am a farmer who also works a job.
Fair enough (if actually true). I was talking about corporate farmers, who do it full time and export crops. Letting cows graze on 100 acres and change and selling them as a side hustle is not what I was talking about, but that's fine, I wasn't specific.
But are you oblivious to the bailouts that farmers of the type I was actually referring to are demanding (and are going to get) because of these tariffs?
I want to say in his first term tariffs ended up costing taxpayers $200 Billion or so just to bail out the farmers and this round is much bigger than round 1.
But none of that is even the point. The point is that your "proof" is like standing in your front yard on a nice day and claiming that the weather has to be nice everywhere because it's nice where YOU are standing. That was the point.

You have a narrative that you're going to stick with no matter what.
One of us sure as frick does, but it's not me.
quote:
Go back to whining, bitching griping and complaining that you be "so po po pitiful you can't afford no house".
I retired at 54 a multi-millionaire. I haven't complained about not being able to afford anything. When you can't win on the facts, just make up lies.

So my property taxes and insurance go up too while my house is exactly the same. Makes sense.

Some of you act as thought leftist printing money doesn’t drive up inflation. Look at Germany in the late 20s. They thought that would work. Leftists have spent our children’s birthright. That isn’t reversed in one year. Especially when democrat appointed judges try to stop the spending which is well within the Executive purview. Government needs to be cut in half and put the lazy leftist freeloaders to work.

I have 2 children about to get married. I hate this for them. It is absolutely ridiculous to have a 50 year mortgage for a home.
I feelya. Here's what I told my daughter and soon to be SIL.
Go look in the best neighborhood you think you can afford, and buy the most run down junker we can fix up. This isn't going to be yawls dream home. It's going to be just the first step to your dream home. I helped them with materials costs and a little labor. They needed to put their sweat equity into it, not mine.
3 years later they sold the house, paid me back all the material costs, and bought another fixer up within a few miles of the original house.
Told them to keep it up, was proud of them, and happy that they found time to work between all that fricking. True story.
